Why do I look so grumpy in this photo?
Oh I remember, this was taken after somebody (naming no names but it rhymes with “dustbang”) had a little too much and passed out under my billiards table. That was a mess.
Well it made sense to begin with a map of our great country. This one seems to have been printed in the East Area, given the terrible lack of detail elsewhere. Regional entrenchment among Amestrian cartographers has been an ongoing issue since the nineteenth century, particularly with regard to the suppression of the former names of the regional capitals and the great divide of the 1860s over whether or not Ishval was to be recoloured as a distinct region, which several historians consider to have been a contributing factor to the eventual outbreak of civil war. I have a number of fascinating books on the subject if anyone is interested.
